When the cell phone was introduced to our daily lives some said: "great! i can reach people i know anytime anywhere" but some others said "too bad! i lost my privacy now, i am reachable anytime anywhere by people who know me".
Then arrived chatting (MSN and others) same story again ... however now i can reach people i don't even know through people i do know and vice versa
Then arrived social media and Facebook in particular... same story again ... however now i can reach anyone and anyone can reach me.
Isn't it just the evolution of things?; what we now consider as private will no longer be as we evolve and adapt to this new platform. Has privacy been breached or has only its threshold been increased by social media?
I still think cell phones are a pain ;-)
