Going back to class #1 and the concept of moving towards Intelligent Computing this Ted Talk provides an interesting look at what the future could hold.
It's created by the Media Lab at MIT looking at a new device that combines off the shelf components and existing google/social media technology to provide users with a "sixth sense." The kicker: in mass production this device would not cost more than today's cell phone!
Very Minority Report esque but the possibilities are pretty interesting.
